Logan Howlett/Wolverine x Reader
Uh Oh...

A/N: Small rating for cursing. It's only one word, so don't like, don't read.

-Beep beep beep beep-

(Y/n) groaned, having been woken up by the annoying sound of her alarm clock. She sat up and stretched, mumbling profanities when her back popped. She looked around her neatly made room, which was in Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. She smiled when she saw she was still here.
(Y/n) moved to the school about three months ago; she was scared of her abilities and refused to display them. However, she quickly made friends with Ororo, better known as Storm, as well as Anna Marie, or Rogue. But even they didn’t know of (Y/n)’s powers; she was afraid they’d leave her if they knew.

She finally swung her feet onto the hardwood floor and made her way into the bathroom. She stripped down and got in the shower, letting the warm water wake her. When she was done washing, (Y/n) stepped out and wrapped a (f/c) towel around her body, and used another towel to wrap her hair up while she got dressed.

It took her a while to find what clothes to wear. She really didn’t have much to do that day, as she wasn’t a student but not a teacher either. She was just kind of there as it was a sanctuary for mutants. (Y/n) finally decided on skinny jeans and a black band t-shirt, and went back to the bathroom to finish her morning routine.

After her hair was styled and her makeup was on, (Y/n) made her way down to the kitchen. When she arrived, Ororo was talking to two other professors about the day’s lessons. She smiled at her friend, and her heart nearly jumped out of her rib-cage when she saw that one of the professors was Logan. She could feel her face starting to flush, so she turned and busied herself with getting a bowl of cereal.

Logan had been gruff with (Y/n) since the moment she arrived, but she had decided that if he wasn’t that way it must mean he didn’t like you. Every once and a while, she could feel his eyes on her, especially if she was walking in the gardens. But when she’d turn to look for him, she could never find him. It didn’t take long for (Y/n) to develop a crush on the Canadian; he’s such a hunk and has that bad-boy attitude she loved.

As (Y/n) was daydreaming, she felt someone hip bump her, making her jump a little. She looked and saw Rogue, who winked at her, “Hi there, sugar. How are ya this fine mornin’?”

(Y/n) smiled in return, “I wanted to murder my alarm clock, but other than that, I’m doing great. How about yourself?”

Rogue giggled in response, “Oh, I’m just peachy-keen, thank ya for askin’.” (Y/n) grinned at her again, and the two went over to join the three already at the table.

“Good morning, (Y/n)!” Storm spoke, offering her the spot next to her. (Y/n) sat down, “Good morning, Storm. Wonderful weather this morning.” Storm chuckled and replied, “Why, thank you. I try.” This caused the two women to giggle.

Scott, the other professor at the table, offered his good mornings and got up to go see Jean before his lesson started. (Y/n) looked up at Logan, who now had Rogue next to him, and smiled at him, “Hi Logan. How are you?”

He grunted from behind his newspaper, “I want a beer.”

(Y/n) looked at him confused, “At eight ten in the morning?”

He smirked around his ever present cigar, “Gotta problem with it, bub?”

She shrugged. She really didn’t mind as she knew he wasn’t really able to get drunk. You know, fast healing and all. (Y/n) could tell conversation wasn’t going to go any further with him, so she focused on eating her cereal.

After a while, Storm had to go get things set up for her class, so she bid those at the table farewell. (Y/n) waved after her, and was putting her bowl in the sink when her phone buzzed. It was a text from her brother, Trevor.

Trevor: Hey sis. I’ve been down in the dumps and really need a pick-me-up. Are you busy?

Smiling at the text, (Y/n) texted back that he was more than welcome to come see her. Trevor had some emotional issues like their father, usually resulting in him seeming uninterested in everything and he rarely smiled. The only time he ever seemed to be happy is when he was with his baby sister, and she was glad to help him feel better.

Rogue looked over at her and grinned, “Text from yo’ boyfrien’?” This caused Logan to grip onto his cigar a little tighter, and glare a little at (Y/n)’s phone, which went completely unnoticed by her.

(Y/n) giggled, “It’s from Trevor. He’s not doing well and wanted to come see us. So I told him he could.” Rogue clapped her hands together, “Oh, I just love him. Idn’t he just purty?”

(Y/n) tried to hold back her laughter; Rogue’s southern drawl made anything sound hilarious. “I suppose he is. I haven’t ever thought about it. I better go get ready for him to come. I’ll see the two of you later.”

Rogue yelled a goodbye after her, telling her to let her know when Trevor arrived. Logan grunted and looked at the newspaper he had in front of him, trying to seem distracted. Rogue wasn’t fooled; she knew Logan too well and knew he was jealous. So she reached over and swatted at his paper.
He growled, “What did you do that for?”

She smiled at him, “You should talk to her mo’. ‘Specially since ya like her.”

Logan rolled his eyes in response, “I do not like her. She gets on my nerves.”

Rogue looked at him with fake shock, “Oh really?”

“Yeah. She walks around here doing nothing all day. No one knows anything about her. She thinks she can just stroll around the garden, picking flowers, and… looking beautiful…” Logan whispered the last part, hoping Rogue wouldn’t hear it, but she did. She smirked at him and stood up to go to her lesson.

“Well, if ya change ya mind, ya need to say somethin’ befo’ Trevor gets ahold of her.” She grinned evilly to herself as she skipped down the hallway.

Logan rolled his eyes again, “Yeah right. Like I’d be interested in a girl like that…” Of course, he was interested. Very much so. (Y/n) was perfect in his eyes. She wasn’t show-stoppingly beautiful, but she was pretty. And she was intelligent, with just enough sass in her to keep a man on his toes. She was kind and compassionate, and had this side to her that made him want to make her his princess. But she must be interested in this “Trevor” guy. He heard her say she thought he was handsome just a minute ago. Logan couldn’t compete with that.

Besides, girls like (Y/n) don’t end up with guys like Logan. They end up with doctors or lawyers, someone that can give them anything their hearts desire. And Logan was just a professor at Xavier’s School.

He sighed quietly to himself before putting out his cigar and folding his newspaper. He left the dining room and went to the Danger Room, where five new recruits were waiting to be trained.

-----Timeskip because I dunno what to put here-----

It was about eleven thirty when there was a knock on the mansion door. Logan, who had just gone to get a beer, groaned and went to answer it. When he opened the door, there stood a pale man with long, dark hair. He had stunning ice blue eyes, and was wearing a blue and gold shirt with a few of the top buttons undone.

Logan looked the guy up and down, “Yeah? What do you want, bub?”

The man didn’t offer a smile, “My name is Trevor. I’m here to see (Y/n).”

“She ain’t here.”

Trevor looked at Logan curiously, “What do you mean, she isn’t here? I just texted her and she said she’d be here.”

Logan was about to continue to argue, when he felt someone push around him. He looked down to see Rogue, who was squealing excitedly, “Oh, Trevor, darlin’! You’re finally here! Now, you just come on in and make yo’self comfortable! I’ll go get (Y/n).” And with that she pulled the man in and led him to a sitting area, then she glared at Logan before going to get (Y/n).

Trevor made a small grunting noise, “So she’s not here, huh?”

Logan snarled his lip. Whoever this guy was, he didn’t approve. He was so stoic, so unresponsive.

And Logan didn’t like it. At all.

Heels were heard coming down the stairs, and Storm smiled widely at Trevor. “Hello Trevor! How are you?” She walked over and hugged the man, who returned the hug gently, “I’m doing just fine, Ororo. How are you?” Storm continued to smile, “I’m doing well. Have you met Logan here? He has a habit of not introducing himself.”

Trevor scrutinized Logan, “So you’re the Logan (Y/n) has told me about? Huh.”

Logan glared at him, “You gotta problem with that, bub?”

Trevor was about to speak again when he was suddenly tackled by a blur of (h/c). “TREVOR!!!”
He caught his sister in his arms, and softly chuckled, showing the first smile since he had arrived, “Hello, sweetheart. How are you? How are you liking it here?”

(Y/n) smiled up at him while still hugging him, “I’m doing pretty well. I’m loving it here; there’s so much to do and everyone is so nice! How are you?”

“I’ve had better days, I guess. Mood has been all in a funk since you left home, and I’m missing you, squirt.” Trevor shrugged. Logan was tensing the more the two talked. So they had lived together? And she hadn’t offered this information to anyone?

(Y/n) made a face at him, “You and your moods, I swear.” This made Trevor grin down at her, “At least you know how to make it better.”

She nodded and pulled him onto the couch, “So tell me what all’s been going on.” She put one of his arms around her, and snuggled into his chest. She was tiny compared to him, but they didn’t mind. She knew this helped make him feel better, like he was keeping her safe from harm, so she didn’t complain.

Trevor reported a few things that had been happening back home, like an attack that destroyed part of the stonework and was having to be rebuilt, and the servants that set the kitchen on fire, meaning the entire wing had to be renovated. (Y/n) listened to every word, offering input where it was needed. Storm and Rogue sat listening as well. None of them noticed the Wolverine leaning against the door frame; and if looks could kill, her brother would be toast.

After a while, Trevor leaned down and kissed (Y/n) on the top of the head. This was all it took for Logan to lose it. Before anyone could register what was happening, Logan had Trevor pinned against a wall with his claws at his throat.

“LOGAN!” came three female screams. Logan’s grip on Trevor’s shirt became tighter, “Who do you think you are, kissing on (Y/n) like that? You tryin’ to steal her away from me? Huh, bub?!” he growled deeply.

If Trevor tried to talk, his Adam’s apple would be grazed by Logan’s claws, so he stayed quiet. Logan knocked him against the wall, “Answer me, bub.”

Logan felt a small hand on his arm, trying to pull his claws away from Trevor’s throat, “Logan? Please. Put them away. For me.” He looked out of the corner of his eye to see (Y/n) looking at him worriedly. He growled once more at Trevor then sheathed his claws, not letting his grip on his shirt loosen. (Y/n) seemed to relax a little, and she stepped closer to Logan, softly stroking his arm.

Trevor coughed a little, not letting emotion into his eyes. (Y/n) smiled at him kindly, then at Logan, “Logan, Trevor wasn’t trying to steal me away. That would be just weird.” Logan turned his head to look at her, accidently letting his grip on Trevor loosen. (Y/n) gave him that smile he adored, and he felt his cheeks tinge pink. “Weird?”

(Y/n) laughed softly, “Yeah, very weird. You see, Trevor is my older brother.”

Logan’s eyes widened with surprise; he looked between the two and saw some resemblance, but not much. He looked back at (Y/n) and dropped Trevor. Trevor started rubbing his chest where Logan had held onto him, trying to make sure it wouldn’t bruise.

“Logan…” (Y/n) tried to call to him, but Logan walked away. How did he always screw everything up? He walked out the front door and got on his motorcycle, speeding away before anyone could catch him.

(Y/n) felt awful, now knowing that Logan had gotten jealous over nothing. But she could’ve prevented it. So she waited for a bit, then went to the professor and asked him to locate Logan using Cerebro. The Professor, already knowing the entire story, happily obliged, and found Logan in the woods not far from the mansion. (Y/n) thanked him and made the journey out that way.

Meanwhile, Logan was busy letting his anger out on a couple of trees. ‘Stupid. Stupid, Logan. You didn’t have a shot with her in the first place and now you’ve definitely ruined any possible chances. Idiot. Stupid.’ He clawed and yelled, making marks on the unsuspecting bark. Not even whisky would fix this pain he caused himself, so he continued his rampage until one tree fell down from its wounds.

“What did that tree ever do to you?”

Logan jumped, normally not easy to startle, but somehow (Y/n) had managed to sneak up on him without him noticing.

“What are you doing here, bub?”

(Y/n) smiled softly, “You left without saying anything. I was worried.” She walked over to him, softly touching his arm. Logan looked down at the ground, trying his hardest to avoid those (e/c) eyes he adored.

“Logan… Please, talk to me.” Logan glanced up, thinking he’d see anger in her eyes. But instead, he saw worry and compassion, the things he admired her for. He sighed to himself, and sheathed his claws, before wrapping his arms around her waist and holding her close. “I’m so sorry, (Y/n). I didn’t know he was your brother. I thought…”

“You thought he was who I was interested in? No, I’m not. Because ew.” She grinned up at Logan from his chest, and he gave her his signature smirk. She snuggled back into him, “No, but I am interested in another man.” Logan pulled away a little and looked at her, “Oh, really?” (Y/n) giggled, “Yes. He’s handsome, he’s smart, he has amazing survival skills, and he’s a bad boy. Not to mention he has a nice butt.”

Logan couldn’t help but laugh at this, “You really look at my ass?”

(Y/n) looked at him in shock, “Have you NOT looked at your ass? It’s amazing!”

The two laughed together before Logan pulled her closer. He lifted her chin up and kissed her tenderly on the lips, before leaning back and grinning at her.

“I love you, Logan. No one will ever take me away from you.”

“Yeah, love you too, bub.”
Here's just a little one-shot I typed up. I really needed to quit writing Bruce Banner so much. It's beginning to look like an obsession lol!

You know, I thought there'd be more Wolverine stories than there are. So I wrote one.

Rogue was fun to write. I'm a Southerner, so I used phrases I hear often lol

Any comments would be appreciated! Let me know what you think! :D (Big Grin)

(P.S. If anyone figures out who Trevor is, put it in the comments or message me. It would give a big hint as to the reader's powers. Hint: He doesn't belong to me Wink/Razz )

X-Men belongs to Marvel/Fox Studios.
You belong to Logan, or he'd shank whoever tries to take you :p
